ALBANY-Mr. Henry Alfrus (Billy) Butts, 92 of Golf Course Drive in Albany died April 29, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern. Doug Haught, minister officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Luverne, AL Mr. Butts has lived in Albany since 1937 where he was a member of Beattie Road Church of Christ and retired from REA Express Railroad Company with 30 years of service. He also owned H. A. Butts Rental Property and Painting Co. Prior to living in Albany Mr. Butts lived in Brunswick, GA where he was proud to say he worked as a welder and inspector building Liberty Ships during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley H. Butts, daughter, Shirley Renee Butts, twin grandchildren, William Henry Butts and Donald Perry Butts, seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his son, Donald (Don) Butts and his wife Delores (Dee) of Albany, grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Callie Edwards, Jason Edwards, Steven Earl Burdick, Jr. and Brittany Harvey, great-grandchildren, Taylor Renee Edwards, Ashley Cook, Michael Blake Edwards and Railey Joanna Wright.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
