ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Burglary in the first degree on the 1200 block of South Van Buren Street and on the 1000 block of Blakely Court;
— Battery on the 200 block of Moore Avenue and on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of Juniper Drive and on the 1600 block of Cromartie Beach Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Recovered property on the 1400 block of Ken Gardens Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of West Waddell Avenue;
— Assault on the 700 block of West Society Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2000 block of Sharon Drive;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 300 block of Cordele Road and on the 1700 block of Gillionville Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1000 block of East Edgewater Drive;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 400 block of Meadowlark Drive;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1200 block of East First Avenue and on the 2900 block of Madeline Road;
— Driving under the influence of alcohol on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Reckless conduct on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Injured person on the 100 block of South Jackson Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road and on the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious person on the 3100 block of Fleming Road and on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Assist motorist on the 1700 block of Moultrie Road and on the 700 block of Gaines Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included activated alarms.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 56 calls on Thursday. There were 44 medical calls, 11 trauma calls and one participation in the National Night Out Community Event at Radium Springs Middle School.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, six miscellaneous pains, five chest pains, two altered mental statuses, one seizure, one mental health issue and 22 various medical calls. The trauma calls included six auto accident victims and five falls.
