Public safety roundup for Albany-Dougherty County for Saturday, Sunday and Monday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 65 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 600 block of Cherry Avenue and on the 800 block of North Van Buren Street;

— Harassing phone calls on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court and on the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Enumeration of nuisances on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Vandalism on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;

— Assault on the 1400 block of East First Avenue and on the 1500 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Criminal trespass (domestic violence) on the 300 block of South Jackson Street;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 1800 block of Gillespie Avenue and on the 600 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Battery (domestic) on the 2100 block of Oxford Road;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1000 block of Blakely Court;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2700 block of Dawson Road and on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Simple battery on the 800 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road and on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Pinson Road and on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive;

— Missing juvenile on the 1100 block of West 10th Avenue;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 2600 block of Flynn Court and on the 900 block of South Street;

— Entering auto on the 400 block of Vintage Road;

— Driving while license suspended on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Open container in a vehicle on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 200 block of Cordele Road and at the intersection of West Gordon Avenue and South Van Buren Street;

— Battery on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;

— Interference with a city officer on the 1400 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Driving under the influence of alcohol per se on the 2200 block of Beachview Drive;

— Domestic dispute on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street and on the 500 block of West Society Avenue;

— Wanted person (juvenile) on the 1200 block of East Residence Avenue;

— Vandalism on the 300 block of Slater King Drive;

— False report of a crime on the 2600 block of Dawson Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Saturday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 1400 block of Newton Road and on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Entering auto on the 3200 block of Nelms Road;

— Building check on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Burglary (residence) at the 1400 block of Lily Pond Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 5000 block of Van Cise Lane;

— 911 hang-up on the 600 block of Holly Drive;

— Hit and run on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Traffic arrest on the 3900 block of Leary Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls from Friday through Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included a water leak, a trash fire, shorted or arching electrical equipment, EMS assistance, a grass fire, smoke removal and an overheated motor.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 51 calls, available reports show. There were 39 medical calls and 12 trauma calls.

The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, five chest pains, four respiratory issues, three diabetic issues, three miscellaneous pains, two seizures, one OB/labor issue, one fainting, one mental health issue and 17 various medical calls. The trauma calls included six auto accident victims, five falls and one assault.
