Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 36 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 1000 block of Amsterdam Lane, the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 1300 block of Newton Road;

— Entering auto on the 1000 block of East Residence Avenue, the 700 block of Buckley Boulevard, the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue, the 600 block of North Davis Street, the 1900 block of Keystone Avenue and the 800 block of Hobson Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 2600 block of Gillionville Road, the 500 block of Landing Lane, the 600 block of 8th Avenue and the 2100 block of south Jackson Street;

— Missing person on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Armed robbery on the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of Corn Avenue, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 300 block of West Tift Avenue, the 1600 block of Gardner Road, the 400 block of Robinson Avenue, the 100 block of North Front Street and the 700 block of Goodall Avenue;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 2000 block of Stratford Drive;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1100 block of Westover Boulevard and the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1200 block of South Jefferson Street;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1500 block of 11th Avenue and the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Possession of drug-related objects on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Forgery on the 1900 block of Gillespie Avenue;

— Public Indecency on the 1000 block of West Highland Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 21 calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 6800 block of Newton Road;

— Fraud on the 2600 block of Crofton Drive and the 4700 block of Stagecoach Road;

— Missing person on the 100 block of Lovers Lane Road;

— Animal call on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway and the 1800 block of Dorough Avenue;

— Unlawful dumping on the 1200 block of McKenzie Road;

— Traffic stop on the 1700 block of Liberty Expressway and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;

— Theft on the 3300 block of Gillionville Road;

— Suspicious person on the 200 block of North County Line Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included passenger vehicle fire, alarm system activation, downed power line, grass fire, extrication of victim from vehicle, trash fire and structure fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 68 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. Medical incidents included chest pains, respiratory issues, miscellaneous pain calls, mental health issues, seizures, one faint, one cardiac arrest call, one diabetic issue, and various medical calls.

Trauma calls included seven auto accident victims and four falls.
