ALBANY — A unique art auction event, Artists for Animals, to benefit the Albany Humane Society will occur on Sept. 16, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Albany Museum of Art.
The event will utilize and showcase the visual arts to raise funds for the organization. Throughout the last few months, various local and regional artists were invited to create individual works of art in various mediums, while drawing inspiration from animals. Nearly 30 pieces of art will be auctioned at the Artists for Animals event. Attendees will not only be able to browse and bid on various one of a kind pieces of art, but also sample food “chow” stations while enjoying the open bar.
“We are thrilled for this opportunity to work with barber and gall promotions and raise funds to help give animals the second chance they deserve,” says Donna Strickland, Albany Humane Society executive director.
Tickets are $30 each and are available online now at https://barbergall.ticketbud.com/artists-for-animals-albany
Albany Humane Society members, as well as Albany Museum of Art members, will receive a $5 discount off of the ticket price by utilizing a special promo code upon request.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available at this time. To learn more, contact Steve Barber at email@example.com or Lauren Gall at firstname.lastname@example.org
