SYLVESTER-The funeral services for the late Mr. Sam Williams of 147 Moen Street , Sylvester , GA , who departed this life on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his residence, will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from the Greater New Bethel Baptist Church in Sylvester , GA with the Pastor, Reverend Terrell Carter, officiating, Eulogy given by Bishop Roscoe Williams. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester , GA. Mr. Sam Williams was born on June 5, 1950, in Worth County , GA. He was educated in the Worth County Public School System. Sam accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Later in his life, he joined the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Poulan , Georgia . Sam leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Tammy Williams; four loving daughters, Melissa Collins of Atlanta, GA, Tiffany Brown (Kenneth Wright) of Century, FL, Tanelia Brown, Ti’Teasia Williams, both of Sylvester, GA; two sons, Darren (Shon Brown) Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Toby (Gilachia) Brown of Oxford, MS; two goddaughters, Jasmine Burley, Kina Williams, both of Sylvester, GA; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille Williams, Lena Mae Bailey, Georgia Lee Farley, all of Sylvester, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, many loved ones and caring friends. Thanks to three special nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie and Gaye Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe and Anne Bell Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Terry And Christa Williams, and three special friends, Felton Richardson, James Wright, and Geraldine Lewis.
