LEESBURG — Reading books will take a back seat to dancing Saturday at The Bindery at Oakland Library in Lee County.
The library building will host the sixth annual Daddy-Daughter Dance sponsored by Leesburg United Methodist Church.
Three separate dance events are planned to accommodate daughters of all ages. The first dance is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and is especially for preschoolers and under. The cost is $10 per person.
The second dance, for all ages, will be from 6-8 p.m. Tickets will be $12 per person. The final dance of the event is from 8:30-10:30 p.m. with tickets costing $12. Photographs will be taken beginning 30 minutes prior to each dance.
Each dance will have a DJ playing age appropriate music for each dance. Refreshments will be served. Each girl who participates will receive a charm. T-shirts will be available to purchase.
