ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 incidents Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1400 block of Dawson Road and the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 1800 block of Normandy Drive, the 200 block of Hillside Drive and the 700 block of Burke Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Public indecency on the 1100 block of Madison Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West 4th Avenue and the 1600 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 1200 block of Hilltop Drive;
— Financial transaction card theft on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Entering auto on the 1300 block of Baker Avenue;
— Recovered property on the 1100 block of Ball Park Lane.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 23 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Traffic accident on the 100 block of Byron Plantation Road and the 800 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic arrest on Ga. Highway 91 and Oakhaven Drive;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 3100 block of War Eagle Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Recovered property on the 2400 block of Gibson Road;
— Family violence on the 100 block of Skywater Boulevard.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Calls included building fire, unauthorized burning, extinguishing system activation, vehicle accident and alarm system activation.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 62 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. The calls included 43 medical calls, 18 trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department.
The medical calls included five chest pains, three seizures, two faintings, two OB/labor issues, two miscellaneous pains, one altered mental status, one mental health issue and 21 various medical calls.
The trauma calls included 11 falls, three auto accident victims and one assault.
