Robert “Bucky” Leach, director of investment banking for Heritage Investment Center, has been named by Bank Investment Cousultant’s organization as one of the top 50 bank advisors in the nation.
Affiliated with HeritageBank of the South, Leach was ranked No. 48 on the list nationwide by BIC, a leading financial services industry magazine.
The “Top 50 Bank Advisors” list recognizes the nation’s most successful bank and credit union financial advisors. Rankings are based on key areas including assets under management, percentage growth in production, percentage of fee-based business and change in assets under management from the previous year.
Neal Tomlinson has joined Doherty, Duggan, Hart & Tiernan as commercial account executive.
Tomlinson was most recently with J. Smith Lanier for six years. He previously was in sales with Novartis Pharmaceuticals and was a commercial lender with HeritageBank of the South. Tomlinson graduated from Lee County High School and graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus. He is a member of Dougherty County Rotary Club, Gillionville Baptist Church and Lee County Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He and his wife, Amber, have two boys.
Tomlinson is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and an Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI).
James H. Dixon Jr. has been re-elected to the board of directors of Southwest Georgia Farm Credit, an agricultural lending cooperative based in Bainbridge.
Other members of the board include bobby J. Brooks, Robert B. Moss, T.E. Allen III, Clifford Dollar Jr., Robert L. Holden Sr., Kim D. Rentz and Jeffrey Clark.
Dixon was chosen during the group’s annual meeting this past Tuesday in Albany. About 225 members and guests attending the meeting.
