The Final Chapter plainly sees that the two warring factions, Democrats and Republicans, are still trying to outmaneuver each other. And this saga will continue until the final demise of this country, as both parties are all about themselves and not their constituents.
In Friday’s Squawkbox, one contributor claims to have always voted Democratic and will continue to do so because “almost all of the programs that have elevated our standard of living have come under Democratic administrations.” The key word is “almost,” for it was Eisenhower who started the Civil Rights Act. I, on the other hand, do not see either party as a perennial favorite.
If you look at all of the presidents, you will find what you’re looking for, be it trash or treasure. It was Lyndon Johnson, a devout racist, who was tapped and recorded saying, “I’ll have them xxxxxxx voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” Nixon said, “I’m not a crook.” When you’re in a house full of crooks, that’s probably a fair statement. Today, we have a president that hasn’t told the truth since birth. And the list goes on, because it is the most convincing liar that wins the bet.
However, the real issue I have is the “elevated standard of living.” How can anyone in their right mind think for one moment that by putting 47 million people on the backs of hardworking Americans for a free ride is an increase in their standard of living? These people are being used as pawns for ulterior, selfish motives — and not for the benefit of America, but rather to drag it down to the depths of a septic society. I hardly count getting a free ride to what others have to work for as elevated, unless it’s to stupidity.
