Public safety roundup for Saturday, Sunday and early Monday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 57 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Swift Street and on the 200 block of Thornton Drive;

— Entering auto on the 800 block of Bonnyview Avenue and on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and on the 800 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Recovered property on the 1400 block of Palmyra Road;

— Wanted person on the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Driving on a suspended license on the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road and on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 1200 block of West Waddell Avenue;

— Improper display of tag on the 600 block of Eighth Avenue;

— Vandalism on the 2100 block of Princeton Drive;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Inhumane treatment (of dog) on the 1200 block of 11th Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 300 block of Grant Place;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;

— Simple battery on the 400 block of Vick Street;

— Robbery by force on the 100 block of Wells Avenue;

— Loitering and prowling on the 1400 block of Palmyra Road;

— Obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers on the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Open container on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Saggy pants (indecent exposure) on the 2700 block of Gillionville Road;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on 1500 block of Elva Street and on the 400 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Terroristic threats (domestic violence) on the 3100 block of Graystone Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 33 incidents Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Hospitalization of a behavioral health patient on the 4000 block of Fleming Road;

— Traffic accident on the 2300 block of Cordele Road and at Leary Road and Aristedes Road;

— Family violence on the 900 block of Gaissert Road and on the 2700 block of Astoria Drive;

— Simple assault on the 4500 block of Seymour Lane;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 5700 block of Newton Road;

— 911 hang-up (suspicious person) on the 700 block of Holly Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 15 incidents from Friday morning through Monday morning, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, building fires, an animal rescue, a gas leak, a downed power line, a cooking fire, a grass fire, an unauthorized burning, motor vehicle accidents and a passenger vehicle fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 64 calls on Sunday. There were 52 medical calls and 12 trauma calls.

The majority of the medical calls, included but were not limited to, seven miscellaneous pain calls, five chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, three seizure calls, two cardiac arrest calls, two altered mental status calls, one fainting call, one diabetic issue call, one mental health call and 21 various medical calls. The majority of the trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six auto accident victims, three falls and two assault calls.
