Liberty House gala set for Saturday

LEESBURG — Liberty House of Albany, will present its annual fundraising Pearls and Possibilities gala Saturday at the Oakland Library Event Center in Lee County.

Now in its fourth year, the event will run from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. The event center is at 445 Oakland Parkway.

The evening includes cocktails and dinner, as well as silent and live auctions with Auctioneer Steve Johnson. Music will be provided by DJ “Billy Ocean.”

Liberty House is a nonprofit organization with a mission of providing emergency shelter and services for all victims of domestic violence.

Proceeds from the gala will be used in support of the 150 mothers and children who seek safety each year in the Liberty House shelter and hundreds of other survivors for whom Liberty House has provided services.

Individual tickets are $60 and include an open bar, dinner and auction. Table purchase and sponsorship packages are available ranging from $250 to $1,000. Interested companies or individuals can purchase tickets or make a donation by calling (229) 439-7094.
