SYLVESTER — Police officials say three suspects have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Sylvester convenience store last Sunday.

In a statement, Lt. Ronnie Graddy, investigative division commander with the Sylvester Police Department, said that Denerrick Mariuse Richardson, Montel Jermaine Warren and Darius Devonte Hurley, all 18 and all of Sylvester, were arrested late Thursday. Each was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. The three were transported to the Worth County Jail, Graddy said.

Officials say they believe that the three were involved with the robbery at gunpoint of a Flash Foods store at 404 E. Franklin St. Victims of the robbery told police the crime was committed by two black men with masks, one of whom stood guard at the front door while the other took money from the register.

Graddy said the investigation is continuing and anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the investigative division of the Sylvester Police Department at (229) 776-8500.
