ALBANY POLICE DEPARTMENT: According to reports available from the Albany Police Department, the APD had a light day Wednesday, recording just seven incident reports, excluding traffic accidents. The reports included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue.
— Harassing phone calls on the 2000 block of Coves Court and 1800 block of Seay Court.
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of West 2nd Avenue.
— Burglary 1st degree on the 1400 block of East Lincoln Avenue.
— Simple battery on the 500 block of Eugmar Drive.
— Pedestrian soliciting a ride on the 300 block of North Madison Street.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to five calls on Tuesday and six calls on Wednesday, according to available reports. The calls included:
— CO2 detector activated on the 1900 block of Robin Hood Drive.
— A water leak leaking on a light fixture on the 300 block of Elsom Street.
— Two false alarms.
— Building fire on the 400 block of Hudson Lane.
— Smoke on the 600 block of Eugmar Drive.
— Shorted electrical socket on the 1600 block of McArthur Street.
— Smoke scare on the 300 block of Mock Road.
— Medical assist on the 2200 block of Washington Street.
— False alarm on the 300 block of Flint Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Management Service responded to a total of 50 calls on Wednesday. There were 35 medical calls and 15 trauma calls.
The majority of the 35 medical calls were:
— Four chest pain calls, three respiratory calls, three OB/labor issue calls, two seizure calls, one altered mental state call, one diabetic issue call and 18 other various medical calls.
