Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 25 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Battery on the 1900 block of West Broad Avenue and the 2600 block of Flynn Court;

— Criminal damage to property on the 600 block of Cotton Avenue and the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Grant Place and the 300 block of Slater King Drive;

— Wanted person on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the 1900 block of Edgerly Avenue, and the 1700 block of Samford Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1300 block of McKinley Street, the 2100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1200 block of Van Deman Street, the 500 block of Swift Street, the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue and the 100 block of School Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1800 block of Cobblestone Court;

— Forgery on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Assault on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Lost or mislaid property on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Armed robbery on the 700 block of North Carroll Street;

— Burglary on the 3900 block of Gillionville Road, the 100 block of Telfair Avenue and the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court;

— Financial fraud on the 1200 block of Kingston Court.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 32 calls on Monday. The incidents included:

— Animal call on the 3000 block of War Eagle Drive;

— Theft on the 3100 block of Plains Lane;

— Discharging firearms on the 800 block of Putney Avenue;

— Family violence on the 600 block of Holly Drive and the 2400 block of Hibiscus Road;

— Suspicious person on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road and the 4500 block of Stagecoach Road;

— Fraud on the the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;

— Suspicious auto on the 3100 block of Plains Lane;

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls on Monday. The incidents included dumpster fire, EMS call, building fire, grass fire and arching electrical line.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 47 incidents on Monday, available reports show. Medical incidents included chest pains, seizures, respiratory issues, one fainting, one diabetic issue, one altered mental status, one cardiac arrest, one miscellaneous pain report and 18 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included four falls, two assaults and one auto accident victim.
