ASHBURN-The funeral services for the late Mr. Cleve Mack McGriff of 815 S. Lee Street, Ashburn, GA, who departed this life on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Tift Regional Medical Hospital in Tifton, GA, will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA, with the Bishop Nathaniel McGriff officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, GA. Mr. Cleveland Mack McGriff was born September 24, 1942 in Lakeland, GA to the late Mrs. Sarah Ross and the late Mr. Mack McGriff, Sr. He attended public schools in the Turner County Public School System. He was a member of Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA. He worked at the Golden Peanut Company in Ashburn, GA for thirty years, until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Sherrie Lee McGriff, Renase McGriff, Dinitia M. (Andre) Carithers, and Lisa Holley, all of Ashburn, GA; two sons, Anthony B. McGriff of Tifton, GA, Donald D. (Davida) McGriff of Ashburn, GA; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, five sisters, Katrina (Richard) Byrd of Ashburn, GA, Barbara Summers of Omega, GA, Deotha Danson of Alabama, Annette McGriff, Maxine (David) Miller of Lakeland, GA; two brothers Nathaniel (Gent) McGriff of Valdosta, GA, John Summers of Ashburn, GA; a sister-in-law, Janie Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
