Public safety roundup for Saturday, Sunday and Monday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 60 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Aggravated battery on the 400 block of Gowan Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Ebony Lane and on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1800 block of Lullwater Road and on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane;

— Entering auto on the 2400 block of Bassford Lane and on the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Gowan Avenue and on the 1500 block of South Van Buren Street;

— Pedestrian soliciting a ride or business on the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Interference with custody on the 300 block of Johnson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Corn Avenue and on the 1100 block of Auburn Drive;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1600 block of Schley Avenue;

— Confinement of animals violation on the 2300 block of 12th Avenue;

— Suspended license on the 200 block of Merritt Street and on the 600 block of Magnolia Street;

— Possession of marijuana on the 400 block of Pine Avenue;

— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and on the 900 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Battery on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Reckless conduct on the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Interference with a city officer on the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 500 block of Vintage Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Assault on the 2300 block of Hawthorne Drive;

— Simple battery on the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Unruly child on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Simple assault on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard

— Theft by deception on the 1200 block of South Van Buren Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 42 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Family violence on the 1200 block of Williamsburg Road and on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Suspicious person at the intersection of Leary Road and Newton Road and on the 400 block of Philema Road;

— Traffic control on the 3400 block of Aristedes Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive and on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Assist motorist on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Speeding auto on the 900 block of James Cross Avenue;

— Terroristic threats on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Accidental damage on the 1400 block of Cordele Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of North Hibiscus Road;

— Unwanted guest on the 2400 block of North Hibiscus Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Accident on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of Community Avenue and on the 3600 block of Radial Avenue;

— Robbery of a person on the 1800 block of South County Line Road;

— Animal call on the 400 block of Virginia Avenue;

— Theft on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Traffic arrest on the 500 block of Oakridge Drive;

— Traffic accident on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 22 calls from Thursday through early Monday, available reports show. The incidents included grass fires, building fires, downed power lines, EMS assistance, overheated motors, an unauthorized burning, trash fires, a smoke scare and a vehicle fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 52 calls on Sunday. There were 44 medical calls, seven trauma calls and one assistance call for the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included, but were not limited to, five respiratory issues, three chest pains, three mental health issues, three diabetic issues, two faintings, one seizure, one OB/labor issue, one miscellaneous pain and 24 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, four falls and two assaults.
