ALBANY — Two men are being sought in connection to an aggravated assault in Albany in late June.

Lamonte Denard Muff, 22, has two aggravated assault warrants out on him. His last known address was at 1204 Sharon Ave. He is a black male with brown eyes who is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck that says “Monte,” a bulletin released by the Albany Police Department says.

Corey Deion Wright, 18, who has two aggravated assault warrants out against him as well as one warrant each for criminal trespass and criminal intent for motor vehicle theft, is the other person who has been connected to the incident. He is a black male with brown eyes, and is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. His last known address is 305 Slater King Drive, Apt. B, police said.

Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the APD, said the victim in this case stated that on June 23, at about 2:30 a.m., he was stopped at the intersection of North Davis Street and West Tift Avenue in his vehicle when someone inside a turquoise Malibu fired shots toward him. He further stated that he lost control of his vehicle and struck a curb in attempt to flee the area.

No injuries were reported, Banks said.
