ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 37 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Assault on the 700 block of Goodall Avenue and on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Hickory Lane and on the 800 block of 17th Avenue;
— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 1300 block of Hobson Street;
— Missing person on the 1000 block of St. Andrews Drive and on the 1100 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1700 block of Melrose Drive and on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Theft by receiving stolen property on the 800 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 800 block of Cason Street;
— Driving while license suspended or revoked on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Urination in public on the 1400 block of North Maple Street;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Simple battery on the 2800 block of Stonewater Drive;
— Open container on the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Recovered property on the 2500 block of South Washington Street;
— Obstruction on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of Edgerly Avenue and on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
— Saggy pants on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;
— Remaining on business after closing hours on the 1700 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Assist motorist on the 4000 block of Sylvester Road and on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Man down on the 3900 block of Gillionville Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Animal call on the 3100 block of Calvary Road and on the first block of Luke Drive;
— Suicide attempt on the 3200 block of War Eagle Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3300 block of War Eagle Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, activated alarms, smoke removal and a gas leak.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Services responded to 54 calls on Thursday. There were 45 medical calls and nine trauma calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, four chest pains, three miscellaneous pains, two faintings, two altered mental health statuses, one respiratory issue and 28 various medical calls. The majority of nine trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six falls and one assault.
