ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is investigating a break-in that was reported at a fast food restaurant in northwest Albany on Friday.
The break-in was reported at around 3:30 a.m. at the Burger King located at 2411 Dawson Road. The suspect, or suspects, forced entry by breaking through the drive-thru window, which was also reportedly used as the point of exit.
Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the Albany Police Department, said the suspect busted open the drive-thru window, pried opened the cash registers and then attempted to force into the main office. This incident is under further investigation.
