ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responds to at least 49 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show.
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 2300 block of Evergreen Drive and on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Friendship Drive and on the 1100 block of Dawson Road;
— Assault on the 100 block of Telfair Avenue and on the 1300 block of Seventh Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of McArthur Street and on the 100 block of Collins Street;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 600 block of Burke Avenue and on the 1800 block of Keystone Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Battery on the 600 block of North Washington Street;
— Wanted person on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 1300 block of East Society Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 300 block of South Mock Road and on the 700 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 600 block of Bonnyview Avenue and on the 1600 block of McArthur Street;
— Entering auto on the 1900 block of West Broad Avenue and on the 1300 block of West Second Avenue;
— Arson in the 2nd degree on the 600 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Interference with a city officer on the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;
— Driving while license suspended on the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Obedience for a traffic control device at West Oglethorpe Boulevard and at North Slappey Boulevard;
— Missing person on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Habitual violator on the 900 block of Cedar Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 25 calls on Saturday and Sunday. The incidents included:
— Suspicious persons on the 100 block of Holton Lane;
— Assistance on the 800 block of Notre Dame Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 4000 block of Fleming Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and on the 4700 block of Cooper Street;
— Family violence on the first block of Luke Drive;
— Sign down on the the first block of East Way Street and on the 300 block of Hollis Drive;
— Assist motorist on the 1300 block of Moultrie Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 400 block of Philema Road and on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Speeding auto on the 3400 block of Aristedes Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 3500 block of Blue Springs Road;
— Auto accident on the 3400 block of Sylvester Road and on the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Fraud on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls from Friday morning through Saturday evening. The reports included a smoke scare, building fires, a Dumpster fire, authorized control burns, a shrub fire and unauthorized burnings.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 64 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 55 medical calls and nine trauma calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, eight respiratory issues, six chest pains, five miscellaneous pains, four diabetic issues, three seizures, one fainting, one altered mental status, one OB/labor issue and 21 various medical calls. The trauma calls included nine auto accident victims.
