Public safety roundup for Albany-Dougherty County for Saturday, Sunday and Monday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 800 block of Goodall Avenue and on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Reckless driving on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 100 block of Courtney Court;

— Entering auto on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and on the 2700 block of Ledo Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of West Whitney Avenue and on the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Aggravated stalking/assault on the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Forgery in the 1st degree on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;

— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 800 block of West Broad Avenue and on the 200 block of North West Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1700 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Reckless conduct on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Saggy pants on the 800 block of Eighth Avenue;

— Financial transaction card theft on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Assault on the 2400 block of Bassford Lane;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 900 block of Crawford Drive and on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 36 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 200 block of Virginia Avenue and on the 800 block of Cordele Road;

— Abandoned auto on the 4000 block of Moultrie Road and on the 1200 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Injured person on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;

— 911 hang-up on the 300 block of Hollis Drive and on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;

— Theft on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;

— Lost/misplaced property on the 400 block of Philema Road;

— Assist motorist on the 800 block of River Pointe Drive;

— Entering auto on the 100 block of Redbud Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Attempt to contact on the 3200 block of War Eagle Avenue;

— Burglary (residence) on the 5200 block of Doles Road;

— Missing person on the 2000 block of South County Line Road;

— Traffic stop on the 900 block of Old Pretoria Road and on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 19 calls from Friday morning through Monday morning, available reports show. The incidents included downed power lines, a paint spill, unauthorized burnings, overheated motors, motor vehicle accidents, a building fire and EMS assistance.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 58 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 43 medical calls and 15 trauma calls.

The medical calls included six respiratory issues, four miscellaneous pains, two chest pains, two diabetic issues, two cardiac arrests, two seizures, one fainting, one diabetic issue, one OB/labor issue and 22 various medical calls. The majority of the trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six falls, five auto accident victims and two assaults.
