Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 27 incidents on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Disorderly conduct on the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue, the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue and the 1200 block of Crawford Drive;

— Recovered property on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 100 block of Morningside Drive and the 200 block of Marie Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of Bobbitt Drive, the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2000 block of Schley Avenue, the 500 block of Cherry Avenue and the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Battery on the 300 block of Slater King Drive, the 1100 block of Kingstown Court and the 500 block of Pine Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of North Washington Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1900 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Forgery on the 1000 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Pedestrian soliciting rides on the 2400 block of Palmyra Road;

— Theft by deception on the 900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane and the 1500 block of Henri Avenue;

— Public indecency on the 900 block of Moultrie Road;

— Entering auto on the 1700 block of Marbury Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Wednesday. The incidents included:

— Animal call on the 400 block of Pine Avenue, the 2700 block of Banks Avenue and the 2600 block of Westover Boulevard;

— Family violence on the 100 block of Luke Drive;

— Lost or misplaced property on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Fraud on the 2700 block of Harris Road;

— Theft by deception on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday. The incidents included public service, alarm system activation, smoke detector activation, cooking fire, animal rescue, overheated motor, trash fire, false alarm and building fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 54 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Medical incidents included chest pains, mental health calls, respiratory issues, miscellaneous pain calls, various medical calls, one seizure, one faint and one diabetic issue.

Trauma calls included seven auto accident victims, four falls, two assaults and one laceration.
