ALBANY — Heather Nichols has been promoted to marketing manager by HeritageBank of the South.
A former marketing coordinator for the bank, Nichols has worked in the banking industry for more than nine years. She will direct HeritageBank’s marketing efforts.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Valdosta State University, Nichols worked as a marketing coordinator and banking retail assistant before joining HeritageBank in 2007. She is a member of the Dougherty County Saddle Club and Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs, and competitively shows her horse, Leaves No Doubt. Nichols’ husband, Warren, is the owner of Auto Solutions, LLC in Albany.
ATLANTA –Sharon Warren of Albany, unit supervisor in the Georgia Department of Labor’s Albany Career Center, has received an EXCEL Certificate of Leadership Development from the state agency. Warren graduated from the GDOL Executive Commitment to Excellence in Leadership (Excel) 2014 class, a partnership between the GDOL and the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government in Athens.
The classes explored major political, social and economic issues facing the state and nation. The graduation ceremony was recently in Peachtree City.
