Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 44 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Henri Avenue, the 1900 block of Meadow Drive, the 1300 block of Bonnyview Avenue, the 1000 block of East 4th Avenue, the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane, the 600 block of Swift Street, the 100 block of Dobbs Drive and the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Recovered property on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 1900 block of Devon Drive, the 200 block of East Road, the 2200 block of Old Dawson Road and the 200 block of Thornton Drive;

— Smash and grab burglary on the the 2300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 1300 block of West 3rd Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 100 block of Force Drive, the 900 block of West Society Avenue, the 1000 block of South McKinley Street, the 500 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1100 block of Clark Avenue;

— Forgery on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 3300 block of Gillionville Road;

— Battery on the 1000 block of South Madison Street, the 1900 block of North Harding Street and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Damage to mailbox on the 1600 block of Partridge Drive, the 2400 block of Pheasant Drive and the 600 block of Meadowlark Drive;

— Robbery by force on the 1900 block of South Madison Street.

— Harassing phone calls on the 400 block of South McKinley Street;

— Public indecency on the 400 block of Cannon Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 1200 block of Cromartie Beach Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Tuesday. The incidents included:

— Theft on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Suspicious person on the 100 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Lost or misplaced property on the 900 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Recovered property on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Auto accident on the 100 block of North Westover Boulevard.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least three calls on Tuesday. The incidents included alarm system activation and gas odor report.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 54 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Medical incidents included chest pains, diabetic issues, respiratory issues, one altered mental status, one mental health call, one faint, one miscellaneous pain call and various medical issues.

Trauma calls included five falls and one accident victim.
