Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 34 incidents on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue,the 1700 block of Gillionville Road, the 200 block of Wright Drive, the 1000 block of Netherland Lane, the 1300 block of Mercantile Drive, the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue and the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Burglary on the 200 block of Telfair Avenue, the 900 block of South Street, the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of Lee Street, the 400 block of Gowan Avenue and the 1300 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue, the 1300 block of Montego Court and the 1000 block of Amsterdam Lane;

— Missing person on the 1700 block of South Madison Street;

— Battery on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 2000 block of Hidden Court, the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 300 block of Grant Place and the 2500 block of Beachview Drive;

— Violation of ankle monitor order on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1100 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2000 block of Schillings Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Wanted person on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Lost or mislaid property on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Public indecency on the 1000 block of South McKinley Street;

— Damage to mail box on the 100 block of Westcott Street;

— Identification fraud on the 200 block of Beachview Drive;

— Theft by deception on the 1900 block of Jones Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday. The incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Theft on the 2300 block of Tarva Road and the 2700 block of Astoria Drive;

— Wanted person on the 600 block of Holly Drive;

— Abandoned auto on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;

— Traffic arrest on the 100 block of Oakridge Drive.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday. The incidents included alarm system activation, medical assist to EMS, building fire and downed power line.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 57 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Medical incidents included chest pains, diabetic issues, respiratory issues, altered mental status, general sickness, abdominal pain, cardiac arrests and various medical issues
