Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports — July 1, 2014

Public safety roundup for Albany-Dougherty County for Saturday, Sunday and Monday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 67 calls on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of Sands Drive and on the 1400 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of South Van Buren Street and on the 1900 block of South Riverview Drive;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 200 block of Enterprise Drive and on the 600 block of Moultrie Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of Gary Avenue and on the 1100 block of Auburn Drive;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the 200 block of Slater King Drive and on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive;

— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 700 block of Gilbert Lane and on the 2500 block of Barnesdale Way;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Forgery in the 1st degree on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of South Jackson Street and on the 1300 block of South Davis Street;

— Wanted person on the 700 block of Corn Avenue and on the 1100 block of Auburn Drive;

— Simple battery on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Injured person on the 200 block of Slater King Drive;

— Robbery by force on the 300 block of West Society Avenue;

— Assault/vandalism on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane;

— Robbery by snatching on the 500 block of South Davis Street;

— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Driving while license suspended on the 1300 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Missing person on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Suicide on the 2400 block of Hibiscus Road;

— Property damage on the 3100 block of War Eagle Avenue;

— Animal call on the 100 block of Bennett Drive and on the 2400 block of Cherry Laurel Lane;

— Problem with juvenile on the 1300 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Road blocked on the 200 block of Paige Street;

— Assist motorist on the 3800 block of Clark Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Auto accident on the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 17 incidents between Friday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included a water heater malfunction, building fires, EMS assistance, an unauthorized burning, trash fires, a vehicle accident and a vehicle fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 46 calls on Sunday. There were 41 medical calls and five trauma calls.

The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, six respiratory issues, three chest pains, two faintings, two seizures, two mental health issues, two miscellaneous pains and 22 various medical calls. The trauma calls included two auto accident victims, two falls and one assault.
