Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 incidents Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 1200 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Missing person on the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 400 block of Gowen Avenue;

— Burglary on the 600 block of Johnson Road, the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1400 block of East Society Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Missing vehicle on the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Recovered property on the 400 block of Forest Glen Drive;

— Possession of a controlled substance on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive;

— Public indecency on the 200 block of 1st Avenue;

— Identification fraud on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;

— Criminal damage to property on the 500 block of Pinson Road;

— Identification theft on the 500 block of Ebony Lane;

— Assault on the 600 block of Johnson Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday. Calls included public service, refrigerator leak, medical assist to EMS, heat from short circuit, alarm activations and power pole fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 52 calls on Tuesday. The calls included 46 medical calls and six trauma calls.

The medical calls included seven chest pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, six miscellaneous pain calls, four altered mental status calls, one faint, one seizure call, one cardiac arrest call, one mental health call, one OB/labor call and 15 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included four falls and two auto accident victims
