Michael Eric Hooper, an attorney with the law firm of Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers P.C., has been selected to the 2014 Georgia Rising Stars list in the area of taxation.
No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Georgia are chosen by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Hooper practices in the areas of taxation, trusts and estate planning, corporate law, business law, probate and estate administration.
Hooper was one of four attorneys recently selected nationwide to serve as a Trust and Estates Fellow for the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section of the ABA. He currently is an adjunct professor at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University where he teaches a course on taxation of pass through entities.
Hooper has a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy, a J.D. from Walter F. George School of Law and a LLM in taxation from the Levin college of Law at the University of Florida.
Needham “Bo” Hatcher, financial advisor at HeritageBank of the South, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner board of standards to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP certification marks.
Hatcher met experience, training and ethical standards to qualify. His training included the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits and estate planning.
