ALBANY — The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit has issued a lookout for Carlton Alfonzo Miller, 32.

Cpl. Richard Norman, interdiction officer with the ADDU, described Miller as an “extremely dangerous” felon and advised extreme caution if any contact is made with the fugitive.

According to Norman’s account, about 7:41 p.m. Tuesday officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Cavalier believed to have been driven by Miller. After the officers noticed illegal drugs in plain view inside the vehicle, the driver sped away before jumping from the moving vehicle and escaping on foot, Norman said.

Inside the abandoned Cavalier was information linking Miller to the vehicle and also numerous bags of marijuana; “spice,” or synthetic marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Officials say Miller is wanted on more than 20 charges, including aggravated assault, probation violation, speeding, reckless driving, obstruction of an officer and possession of marijuana.

Miller’s last known address was listed by the ADDU as 211 Pine Bluff Road, Lot No. 247.

Miller is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with numerous tattoos on his neck and arms, officials say.

Anyone with information as to Miller’s whereabouts is asked to call the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit at (229) 430-5150 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477).
