Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 32 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— DUI on the 700 block of 8th Avenue;

— Unruly juvenile on the 2200 block of Washington Street;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue and the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;

— Driving on suspended license on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 500 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 300 block 0f Saratoga Lane and the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 500 block of South Madison Street;

— Assault on the 600 block of Chippington Court;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive and the 1100 block of Rood Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1700 block of Cromartie Beach Road and the 1100 block of St. Andrew Court;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1200 block of South Mock Road and the 1300 block of South Madison Street;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 100 block of Cordele Road;

— Recovered property on the 1500 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Aggravated stalking on the 100 block of National Court;

— Lost or mislaid property on the 1000 block of North Maple Street;

— Violation of emergency telephone use on the 200 block of Marie Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Adelyn Road and the 800 block of Cotton Avenue;

— Giving false name on the 800 block of North Davis Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1600 block of 12th Avenue;

— Interfering with a city officer on the 900 block of Wheeler Avenue;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday. Calls motor vehicle accident, grass fire, unauthorized burning, smoke detector activations, brush fire and commercial truck fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 60 calls on Tuesday. The calls included 51 medical calls and nine trauma calls.

The medical calls included eight pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, four faint calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, one altered mental status calls, one diabetic issue call, one OB/labor call and 23 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included six auto accident victims, one fall, one laceration and one assault.
