ALBANY — Two Albany residents were hospitalized with minor injuries after a Tuesday morning traffic accident on North Westover Road, officials say.

Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the Police Department, said Willie Mikes drove a 2003 Lincoln Navigator through a red light on Archwood Drive and was involved with a collision with a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer on North Westover Boulevard. The Trailblazer was driven by Deavin Johnson, 22, Banks said.

The collision caused the Navigator to roll over, police officials say. Mikes was cited for a red light violation, Banks said.
