Juvenile suspect charged in Albany knife attack

A 16-year-old female is accused in stabbing case

ALBANY — A 16-year-old female was arrested Wednesday for attacking 21-year-old Victoria Randalls with a knife, police officials say. Officers of the Albany Police Department responded to 102 Sunset Lane around 2:30 a.m., officials say, where they were told by witnesses that the juvenile suspect cut Randalls “several times in the face” with a kitchen knife.

Randalls and the unidentified suspect had gotten into an augment, officials say, after which she went into the house and returned with the knife.

The suspect fled the scene after the incident, officials say, but was charged with aggravated assault. The case remains active, police officials say.
