ALBANY — The time is approaching for the curtain to go up on the annual Pritchett-Pippin Dance Studio’s annual recital, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County.
Kathy Hawkins and the Pritchett-Pippin Dancers will present “One Hot Ticket” in performances on May 20 and 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Albany High School.
In addition to showcasing local talent from the Pritchett-Pippin School of Dance, the event is a major fundraiser for the Kiwanis Dougherty County club. Proceeds benefit the club’s numerous community service projects and gifts in the Dougherty and Lee counties area.
Tickets are $10 and all seats are reserved seating. Ticket sales will be held at the Albany High auditorium on the following schedule: May 12, 13 and 19, 3 to 6:30 p.m.; and May 20 and 21, 5 to 7 p.m.
Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County will assist with backstage help, ticket and program ad sales, and ushering.
