JOHN BRYANT: Sen. Harry Reid oddly selective in who he labels terrorist

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: While calling out a rancher at odds with the government, Sen. Reid has been quiet on marathon bombers

I guess, all in all, the political cartoon with the “Boston Patriot” statue (Wednesday’s Perspectives page) was great. After a second glance, I realized the statue had on some type of tennis shoes, more often referred to as track or running shoes.

The “Boston Strong” sign at first made me think that the gun and plow did make the colonists strong. I didn’t understand why something so serious from our past could be a cartoon.

I don’t want to go into any detail about the two so-called persons that killed and maimed hundreds of marathon runners in Boston. In all this time, I have never heard or read of Harry Reid calling either one of the two brothers a terrorist.

My point is that the rancher in Nevada hasn’t killed or hurt anybody, and the American citizens helping him haven’t either. Harry Reid has labeled all of them as domestic terrorists.
