Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 34 incidents on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of Sunny Lane, the 400 block of Pine Crest Drive, the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue, the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue and the 600 block of Moultrie Road;

— Terrorist threats and acts on the 300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 1300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the 3800 block of Old Town Court and the 800 block of Lippitt Drive;

— Aggravated assault on the 1000 block of South Davis Street;

— Headlights requirement on the 500 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Wanted person on the 100 block of Sunset Lane and the 1400 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Pine Avenue, the 900 block of West Society Avenue, the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane and the 1100 block of Dawson Road;

— Public indecency on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 700 block of Goodall Avenue;

— Theft of lost or misplaced property on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Unruly child on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of Dawson Road and the 1600 block of Newton Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1000 block of South Harding Street;

— Theft by deception on the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street;

— Recovered property on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1600 block of 12th Avenue;

— Recovered property on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 36 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents include:

—Theft on the 1400 block of Nelms Road and the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Fraud on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Child abuse on the 1100 block of Habersham Road;

— Family violence on the 1100 block of Sylvester Road;

— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Honey Suckle and Radium Springs Roads;

— Animal calls on the 300 block of Woodridge Court, the 2200 block of Pendleton Drive and the 2800 block of Astoria Drive;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Wednesday. Calls included downed power line, motor vehicle accident, building fire and EMS call.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 52 calls on Wednesday. The incidents included 58 medical calls and 14 trauma calls.

The medical calls included seven respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, two mental health calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one seizure call and 14 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 10 auto accident victims and three falls.
