ALBANY — The investigations division of the Albany Police department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Samuel Darius Yarbrough, who is wanted for questioning in the burglaries of two Albany businesses.

Yarbrough is described as a 22-year old black male, who is 5 feet 7 and weighs 130 pounds. His last known address is 2601 Crossbow Court, officials say.

Police officials say Yarbrough may have some connection with a burglary that took place at 1923 Dawson Road on April 28 and another at 2509 Stuart Ave. that same night.

During the burglaries, the suspect was in the company of at least three other men, police officials say, and may be on his way to California.

Anyone with information regarding the burglaries or Yarbrough is asked to call an APD investigator at (229) 431-3288 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS for a possible reward.
