ATLANTA — Music fans will have some tough decisions to make during the Sept. 19-20 Music Midtown festival at historic Piedmont Park here.

Organizers have set up a sort of “dueling headliners” scenario both nights of the festival, leaving attendees to choose whether they want to watch Jack White or John Mayer Friday night and to decide between shows by Eminem and the Zac Brown Band on Saturday.

Festival organizers released the Midtown schedule last week.

“I’m going to Music Midtown to see Eminem, Lorde, B.o.B and Lana Del Rey,” local music fan Stacey Warren said after the lineups were announced. “I kinda wanted to see Jack White and John Mayer and maybe Iggy Azalea, but it looks like I won’t get to see all of them.”

Indeed, the Midtown lineup has White playing from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. at the festival’s Roxy Stage Friday, while Mayer will play at the same time on the Electric Ballroom Stage. Rapper Eminem will play the Electric Ballroom Stage Saturday from 9 p.m.-11 p.m., while country favorites — and Georgia natives — the Zac Brown Band are scheduled to play the same time slot on the Roxy Stage.

Alternative princess/Grammy-winner Lorde will play the festival’s third stage, the Honda Stage, from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday, while current pop star Azalea will perform from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. that night on the Roxy Stage.

Similarly, rock icon Gregg Allman is scheduled to perform from 6:45 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday on the Roxy Stage, while Lana Del Rey is scheduled for the same time slot on the Electric Ballroom Stage.

As the annual festival nears, organizers also announced the addition of Third Eye Blind and Vic Mensa to the weekend lineup. Nineties rockers TEB will play the Roxy Stage from 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Saturday, while Mensa is scheduled to perform an hour earlier on the Electric Ballroom Stage.

Two-day general admission tickets for Music Midtown, which are $125 through today and will increase to $135 starting Saturday, are available online at www.musicmidtown.com or at www.livenation.com. They may be charged by calling (800) 745-3000.
