Albany armed robbery suspects arrested

ALBANY — Two suspects, age 14 and 16, were arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery at Woodall’s Gas and Grocery on North Slappey Boulevard, police officials say.
The juveniles are believed by police to have taken part in the holdup Wednesday in which shortly after 1 a.m. three young men with bandanas covering their faces pointed a handgun at two store clerks and a customer then escaped with cash from the register. No one was injured in the robbery, officials say.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
