Paula Deen, Bobby Deen and Jamie Deen

Paula Deen, a native of Albany, is nationally known for her Southern cuisine after starring for more than a decade on the Food Network. Her sons, Bobby Deen and Jamie Deen, are cooking stars in their own right. The Deens moved to Savannah from Albany in the late 1980s and launched the beginnings of what would become a cooking empire with the Bag Lady, in-home cooking by Paula that Bobby and Jamie delivered to customers in Savannah. From there, they opened The Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah and Paula Deen found national fame with her televised cooking shows and trademark "Hi, y'all" greeting to viewers. Paula Deen has her own lines of cookware and food, and the Deens have combined to write more than a dozen cookbooks.
