Albany, Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports — July, 10-11

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Armed robbery on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Thornton Drive, the 2400 block of Nottingham Way, the 1300 block of Eager Drive, the 400 block of Lowell Lane and the 1800 block of Sycamore Court;

— Thefts by taking on the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue, the 600 block of North Washington Street, the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive, the 2500 block of Pheasant Drive and the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 100 block of School Street;

— Open container on the 200 block of West Society Avenue;

— Simple battery on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue and the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Loitering, obstruction of free passage, on the corner of the Liberty Expressway and North Jefferson Street;

— Suicide attempt on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least five calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 100 block of County Line Road and the corner of the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road;

— Wanted person on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive;

— Traffic arrest on the corner of South Mock Road and Walter Brown Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least two calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS calls on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1400 block of South Carolina Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 63 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, three abdominal pain/problem calls, one lift assist call, one choking call, eight respiratory issue calls, 23 general sickness calls, one faint call, one stroke call, one diabetic call, two OB calls, one seizure, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls and one cardiac arrest/death call. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, five falls, one laceration and one traumatic injury. Other calls included one local transport and two medical alert activations.
