A 46-year-old man flagged down an officer on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and reported that he was approached by three men and robbed at gunpoint while at the automated teller machine at the Pilot located at 310 Cordele Road.

Shootings reported in Albany over the weekend

Saturday and Sunday shootings result in one hospitalization

A home invasion and aggravated assault was reported at 605 N. Washington St. at 10:52 p.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to the address in reference to a shooting, and upon arrival, the officers made contact with James Jones, 49. He had a gunshot wound, police officials said.

Bank robbery, shooting suspect turns himself in to Albany Police Department

PeoplesSouth Bank at 701 N. Westover Blvd. was robbed shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday by a man who demanded money from a teller. Around the same time of the robbery, officers were dispatched to 409 Bennington Lane on reports of a probable gunshot victim and found a woman with at least two wounds.
