Proposal could ban commercial vehicles from Albany neighborhoods
Commercial vehicles would no longer be allowed to be parked in residential neighborhoods under a proposal tentatively approved this morning by the Albany City Commission.
Exceptions would include school buses parked off the roadway and commercial vehicles parked less than eight hours a day inside a fully enclosed structure.

All charges against the Rev. Dougherty DA to ask for Coroner's Inquest in Cop shooting
Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edwards confirmed today that he will ask Dougherty County Coroner Emma Quimbley to call a Coroner's Inquest to discuss issues associated with the death of Sarah Riggins -- a woman shot to death by police.
Liberty House seeks donors for Adopt-a-Family program
Liberty House of Albany is requesting assistance for its 5th annual Adopt-a-Family program. Participants will be asked to buy at least three gifts per child for families served by the domestic violence shelter.
