An 81-year-old woman was fatally injured when she drove a silver Buick LeSabre west on Nelms Road across the Liberty Expresway at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Dougherty County Police Chief Don Cheek.

Officials say an 81-year-old female driver was killed in a two-car wreck this afternoon on U.S. Highway 19 South. The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.
