It's official: Monroe vs. Westover hoops moved to Civic Center
After years of turning away fans and facing problems with the fire marshal because of the standing-room-only crowds that pack the gyms when Monroe and Westover meet in basketball, the county has decided to move the season's first meeting on Jan. 14 to the Albany Civic Center.
