De-Fye-ing the odds
Nicole Fye, a 12-year-old swimming phenom from Lee County, topped off an incredible summer recently by swimming the fastest time in the nation in her age group in the 1,500-meter freestyle, and then holding her own against in the Senior State meet against high school and college-aged swimmers.
