The Cardinals’ Octavio Dotel celebrates after St. Louis improbably went from sneaking into the postseason to winning Game 6 of the NLCS late Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers, advancing them to the World Series against the ALCS winners, the Texas Rangers. Game 1 is Wednesday night in St. Louis.

This seemed like a lost season early on for the Cardinals, who lost ace Adam Wainwright for the year and superstar Albert Pujols for a good portion of the season to injury, but after a furious rally just to make the postseason, St. Louis is now four wins from the World Series title.
