Albany State running back Nathan Hoyte is leading the Rams in rushing this season. Hoyte and the Rams moved up to No. 22 in the latest AFCA poll after defeating Clark Atlanta on Saturday.

Albany State is likely looking at playing right up to the NCAA Division II playoffs without a bye week -- something that the Rams are forced into because of the new SIAC divisional format that has the Rams forfeiting their off week if they play in the conference title game.
