Thanks to St. Louis native David Freese, the Cardinals, who made history with a comeback in September just to reach the playoffs, stage one of the most dramatic comebacks in World Series history in Game 6 late Thursday night, coming back from two-run deficits in the ninth and 10th innings when they were down to their final strike as David Feese belts a two-out, two-strike, two-run triple in the ninth to tie it at 7-7, and then forces a Game 7 with a leadoff walk-off home run in the 11th to give the Cardinals a 10-9, win.
