Officials: $153 million in sales tax to go toward regional transportation projects

A public hearing has been set in Albany for 5 p.m. Sept. 12 at the government center.

More than $500 million in sales taxes are expected to be collected over the next 10 years in the Southwest Georgia region, city officials said.
